ok - this mite be a little bit late to answer - but if youre a person who lives for music - you'll never get sick of listening to it - and wont get tired of diggin new bands right??!!

i reccomend this unsigned rock band from the UK called "Forbidden Lust".

theyre not your usual band you see or hear everyday. for starters, they have a female frontman, who (for once,)doesnt sing like a pathetic Lindsay Lohan "rock-chick-wannabe" lol.

their music is well structured, and carefully and thoughtfully peiced together.
they definitley vary in the rock category, as some of their songs can be really rocky and fairly heavy (especially live!), and they have other songs which are slower, more ballady and well...more mellow.
i think you'll like this band...theyve had good write-ups in papers and have been told they have potential!

i'd check em out...they're prety cool!
www.myspace.com/forbiddenlust
www.forbiddenlust.co.uk

they have a selection of songs on both their website and myspace, varying the "rockiness" - you'll know what i mean when you listen to it.
its good stuff!

go on...give em a try :P

www.myspace.com/forbiddenlust
www.forbiddenlust.co.uk

...and who knows, you may realy dig their stuff :)
if you use this advice, please tell me what you thought :)

New Found Glory
Angels and Airwaves
the Decemberists (if you like the Postal service, you'll love the Decemberists)
Death Cab for Cutie
Foo Fighters
Franz Ferdinand
Hot Hot Heat
Incubus
Ok Go
the Shins

These are some of the bands I really like. I was reading your question and saw that I liked pretty much all of the bands you named (and I also do NOT care for country) so I figured you may like these bands too, especially teh Decemberists and the Shins. Give them a try.

XxSeetherxAddictxX answered Tuesday August 15 2006, 8:26 pm:
Have you tried Seether? They are like the best band in the world, in my opinion. And Panic! At The Disco and A.F.I. are both good. Seether songs to download would be:
1. Remedy
2. Broken (w/ Amy)
3. Driven Under
4. Fine Again
5. Basically anything by Seether.

Songs by P!ATD:
1. I Write Sins, Not Tragedies
2. Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off
3. The Only Difference Between Martydom And Suicide Is Press Coverage
4. Time To Dance
5. Camisado
6. I Constantly Thank God For Esteban

A.F.I. Song(lol):
1. Miss Murder

Hope this helps!!
Thanks,
Eden, XxSeetherxAddictxX
