Question Posted Saturday August 12 2006, 1:27 pm

I'm tired of listening to the same things already.
I need new songs.
Genres: Techno; Indie; Electronica(the type that's mixed with like Indie or Rock).; Rock/Punk. Also I wouldn't mind girl bands.

ok - this mite be a little bit late to answer - but if youre a person who lives for music - you'll never get sick of listening to it - and wont get tired of diggin new bands right??!!

i reccomend this unsigned rock band from the UK called "Forbidden Lust".

theyre not your usual band you see or hear everyday. for starters, they have a female frontman, who (for once,)doesnt sing like a pathetic Lindsay Lohan "rock-chick-wannabe" lol.

their music is well structured, and carefully and thoughtfully peiced together.
they definitley vary in the rock category, as some of their songs can be really rocky and fairly heavy (especially live!), and they have other songs which are slower, more ballady and well...more mellow.

however - if you're looking for a rocky tune...and by the sounds of it - you like to rock- they have the exact song you need called "fall for a heartbreaker"!!

i think you'll like this band...theyve had good write-ups in papers and have been told they have potential!

i'd check em out...they're prety cool!
www.myspace.com/forbiddenlust
www.forbiddenlust.co.uk

they have a selection of songs on both their website and myspace, varying the "rockiness" - you'll know what i mean when you listen to it.
its good stuff!

go on...give em a try :P

www.forbiddenlust.co.uk

...and who knows, you may realy dig their stuff :)
if you use this advice, please tell me what you thought :)

If you like indie/electronica/techno go for Shiny Toy Guns, they're pretty interesting. I'd also suggest some new bands I found like FLyleaf, Angels and Airwaves and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.
