xOx_LoOvE_xOx answered Wednesday August 9 2006, 4:12 pm: Yeah I think you should just keep using it till you get rid of them. Also if you have a straightener that burns them so you could just straighten your hair every once in a while and use rid-it and hopefully they will be gone.
iheartyoussx3 answered Wednesday August 9 2006, 1:19 pm: hey, yes continue using rid until its gone. but i also think you should go to your doctor and see if theres any products or medicines that he/she suggests using.
UHOHxOMFG answered Wednesday August 9 2006, 11:44 am: olive oil. drench your hair in olive oil then wrap it in plastic wrap. sleep with it in over night then in the morning take off the plastic wrap & brush your hair very very carefully with the rid brush to get all the eggs out. they wash your hair out. this works really good.
dont use rid untill like 11 days after the first treatmeet because it could damage your hair big time.
a buncha friends & I all had it and it turned into this huge thing where none of us talked for awhile. i know lice is one of the worst things ever but it will be okay. i cried for like hours while my mom did my hair but it will be okay i promise.

IT WORKS! lice have become resistant to 'rid' because so many people use it. so it dosent work lice anymore.. [ sheerblonde1022's advice column | Ask sheerblonde1022 A Question ]
spoiledandtoxic answered Wednesday August 9 2006, 12:32 am: OIL..like olive oil....or vegtable. TRUST ME IT WORKS. I caught lice from one of my friends like in 4th grade. I had hair down to my but, and i got rid of by doing this. Pour oil all over your head right before you go to sleep. then rap it in cer-an-rap (That clear stuff) when you wake up the next morning wash your hair. Basicaley what it does is smothers the lice. Make sure when you go to bed you use an old pillow case so that your good ones wont get ruiened. [ spoiledandtoxic's advice column | Ask spoiledandtoxic A Question ]

Or read the Rid box & see if the product can be used more then once so close together. If you cant seem to get it out the best thing to do is see your family doctor so he/she can prescribe something that works.
I dont know if you did so already but everything in your bedroom needs to be washed & dried. Such as any clothing, bed blankets & sheets & pillows.
You may have gotten rid of the Lice but if you havent washed everything in your room then it is very possible that they are of those items in your room & they go back to your hair.
karenR answered Tuesday August 8 2006, 11:59 pm: You may need to get a prescription from your doctor. Some of those head lice medicines can't be used more than a couple of times.
The main thing you need to do to get rid of them is make sure everything your head may have come into contact with is washed. Pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, hats combs, brushes anything you may use in your hair like hair do dads. The couch or chair or car seat that your head leans
against etc. If not then they will come back time and again.
It is very possible also that they are gone and
you just itch thinking about it. Best bet it go to the doctor, or if you see one withing the last year you can just call the office and have them send a prescription to your pharmacist. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
