This is embarassing for me but.. im 13 years old(14 in like 3 months)and i weigh like around 160 pounds. I know im really over weight and i hate it. I play sports too so its not like i just sit around the house all day. I play softball almost all year round and i do cheerleading. All my friends are tiny. I guess you could say that im just built big because i got my period around 3 years ago and i wear a c cup right now. I dont want to be as little as them. My mom used to be big so i know i got it from her but she lost a lot of weight and she weighs like 130 right now. I just wanna have a flat tummy, a littler butt, and littler thighs. I want a fun way to do it though. Any suggestions? PLEASE HELP!!!

It gives you good posture and flatens out your stomach and sterns out your butt. You should definately do that. Running won't really do any good. About eating... don't skip ANY meals!! That will just slower your matabolism and when you start eating again after that, you'll gain more weight. So, just eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner but start off with small portions. Muscle weighs more than fat does, so it's possible that you're just more muscular than all your friends. Some people aren't meant to be super tiny, and that's fine, but you can try to tone up and slim down if you really want to. Most nutritionists say that eating six small meals a day is better than three large ones. summerGIRL_xo answered Saturday August 5 2006, 3:14 pm: Don't compare yourself to your friends. I know it's hard, but you're simply not built like them, and there's nothing wrong like that. The first step is WANTING to loose weight & getting motivated. Don't do the fad diets, or some quick "LOOSE 10 POUNDS IN A WEEK" diet because you'll just gain all the weight, or more, back. Doing it the following way might take longer but it's healthy & it will help you keep the weight off :)
As far as eating goes, limit your carbs but do not eliminate them. Eat protein because it will keep you full longer. If you want something sweet, try fruit or something low-calorie. Don't eat as much junk like chips, candy, etc. Pretzels are good if you want something salty, and same with low fat (with not alot of butter!) popcorn. Eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, a snack between lunch & dinner and something after dinner if you're hungry. If you get used to eating this way, you will eventually stop craving the sweets & bad stuff for you.
Exersizing - you really should do an hour or more a day. Anything can be exersize. Running, walking, dancing around in your room, crunches, etc. Since you already do sports, you're active which is good. Adding more exersize to that will help you loose more weight. For a flatter tummy - crunches and sit ups. Littler butt - lunges, etc. Thighs - leg lifts, lunges, etcs. Walking works out your whole body. Swimming can burn a lot of calories, too.

-dancing for an hour burns up 300 calories =)
-walks are always fun.
-drinking plenty of water, can help too.
-getting enough sleep, will make you less hungry.
-but, eating balanced meals.. will speed up your metablism
-dont eat junk food.
-i personally think, stretches are fun to do.
-jumping on the trampoline also gets your body moving & is good for you.
-swimming, is also a good exercise =)

If you want a fun way to lose weight, you should try a dance class--not only do you get to improve your dance moves, but you can meet new people.
Also, another option can be running with your friends and/or buying a taebo video or dance video and doing that with your friend. With running, you get to bond with a friend and exercise and with the video you won't feel like you are the only one doing dumb moves.
