Feeling giulty for a good friendship..

Question Posted Saturday July 29 2006, 10:29 pm

So my friend (we will call him Tom) Tom and i have been talking a lot on MSN and Texting. We are JUST friends (tom has been going out with a girl for 5 months)but for some reason i feel giulty that we are so close. We always go on webcam and do silly stuff together like pretend we are rappers or act like gangsters and stuff. Everybody thinks we like each other even though neither of us have really ever thought about it...

so what i'm asking is do you think he likes me or should i feel giulty? i KNOW i am not leading him on, but ever since somebody kinda pointed it out to me, i geuss we are kinda flirtsy (not on purpose though) i am confused, but in the mean time....i will just continue to be awesome friends and keep on being silly.

your help is GREAT, so thank you for even just reading this mess, lol

If your coming on here asking this question of course you like him. How would you feel if you were in his girlfriends place? What goes around come around. So get off her man and start looking for another before you get it too deep?

You're allowed to be good friends with a guy, you know. Don't be so hard on yourself! One of my best friends is a guy and we do stupid crap like that all the time.

From the way you described it, no I don't think he likes you; I think you guys are just good friends.

But you feel guilty about your relationship. That could possibly mean that you might have a little thing for him and you feel guilty because he has a girlfriend. Just a thought but you still might want to think about that possibility.

If you do find yourself in a situation where you have feelings for him, make sure he doesn't have a girlfriend if you decide to pursue anything. It's not fair to the girl and it might cause awkwardness in the relationship.

But other than that, just go with it. You sound like you have a great, fun friend and that's all that matters.

hey,
In my opinion, i think that you should neither start thinking about the whole like and love thing, nor should you think about feeling guilty.Because your not doing anything wrong, and as long as your not doing anything wrong, then screw what anyone says, you shouldn't give a damn. This is your best friend, and this means that you should have all the fun you can have with him, and all best freinds do so, because if you don't , then you will never feel that you really care about him or that he is fun or anything.
So what i am trying to say is, that if a person wants to do something, and that from his point of view, there is nothing wrong in doing it, then go for it and live your life, and whatever people say, the just put it behind your back, and go on with what your doing. Thats my piece of advice, and thats my opinion, and thats also the right thing to be done. So try to consider what i said and goodluck:) and if there is anything else that you want, please be free to contact me.
