I went to wal mart and got 2 things of non permanent hair dye.
The one brand is LOREAL Color pulse mousse. I got it in Iced coffee just to see what my hair would look like. I wanted to know if it really DOES wash out. i would hate to have my hair like that for more than a week. lol and i was also wondering if you ever tried it? What was youre experiences
One more question:
I also go CLAIROL Herbal essences Color flirt mousse. It says it washes out in 8-10 days. And i got black. It also says Sparkling low risk haircolor.I got the color midnight twinkle(black) I was wondering if anyone used this? experiences? yay or nay? lol
My worries are it wont wash out and will damage my hair. Although, they both say NO AMMONIA AND PEROXIDE.
PS. My hair is very very light blonde =]
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I used the purple colour mousse and it stayed for about two weeks.
My friend with light brown hair used black and it stayed for a month.
I think in your case, it's too risky, I would just use a temporary hair streaking kit or hair mascara. Your hair is too light and the colour might never come out.
By the way, there is a little insert inside the boxes that tell you what colour they recommend according to the shade of you natural colour. It's sucky because it's inside and you can't tell before buying it but usually they want the light blondes to stick with other shades of darker blonde. I dyed my hair auburn and it turned it crayola colored red and it would NOT COME OUT! & it never did...
confused18 answered Tuesday July 25 2006, 12:14 pm: honestly if your hair is light blonde i wouldnt dye it black.. when you wash it out it can affect your natural color. but they wash out. but your hair might not be the same for a lil more after a month. personally id go to the hair dresser to get it done. cuz when you dye your hair its usually not exactly the color they show u on the box [ confused18's advice column | Ask confused18 A Question ]
abovelove36 answered Tuesday July 25 2006, 12:12 pm: ive used both. they do wash out. but the fact that your hair is very light blonde and the colors you chose are dark, it might not wash out all the way and leave your hair slightly discolored. dg663 answered Tuesday July 25 2006, 11:42 am: The Loreal lasts more than a week. My daughter did hers in the purple looking one the last day of school and if the light catches it right you can still catch a hint of the purple. Even right after she did it it was hard to see the purple unless the light was right. The effect it had on the shine of her hair was great. I liked the way it looked so much I bought her another bottle. I don't know about the Clairol mousse but it is probably the same type of thing.
Neither product will damage your hair but with hair as light as yours it may take a while for it to wash out. (My daughter has very dark brown hair. I just bought the iced coffee to do mine to see if it makes my hair look shiny like hers.) [ dg663's advice column | Ask dg663 A Question ]
HighlandAmy answered Tuesday July 25 2006, 11:05 am: Eeek! I hope you read this before you dye your hair!!
non permanent dyes do NOT always come completely out of your hair!! The color may fade a lot, but often people with light hair (like you) find that once they put any sort of color on it, the hair is tinted forever!!!
Because your hair is so light, I would stay away from black. No, I take that back, I would tell anyone to stay away from black, and here's why:
-black dye (permanent or no) is going to grab your hair and hang on. I once (okay, this happened twice) used semi-permanent black dye on my naturally light brown hair, and ended up having to have my hair stripped (a fate I wouldn't wish on anyone!) Very rarely does it come out on it's own! If you want very dark hair, stylists almost always recommend going with the darkest brown.
-Unless your hair naturally very dark (which yours isn't,) black hair WILL make you look creepy and sickly because of your naturally light skin tone, and eyebrows. (Both times I attempted to dye my hair black I was sure I would leave the bathroom looking like Jennifer Connelly - No such luck!)
If you are still bent on dying your hair here's a little trick I learned through years of color experimentation: if you want to fade the color use Head and Shoulders (or another dandruff control shampoo) and wash your hair until the water runs through it clear. The sooner used after dying, the better this will work!
xEVYx answered Tuesday July 25 2006, 10:56 am: Yeah it does wash out. I've used it many times from walmart and target. Sometimes it takes longer than a week though depending what color and how much you put in. I've gone from blonde to brown and back to blonde from brown using that stuff and it usually looks decent and doesn't take that long. But yeah it will wash out, or fade away which ever happens first. Good luck!
