I use Limewire too. I open all of my songs with Winamp (you could use any mp3 player) and then I burn them onto a rewritable CD (CD-RW), then I import the songs to iTunes. Not only are the songs in iTunes, but I also have iTunes set to import songs at 128 kbps. That's CD quality, anything more just wastes space on your hard drive. Then I put them on my iPod. If you used a rewritable CD, you can just erase it when you are done. It can be a pain to do this, but a lot of songs on Limewire are more than 128 kbps. Feel free to ask me any questions if you them!

yes, iTunes is free. And WMA files can easily be transferred. In fact, when you first open iTunes, it offers to search your entire computer for music files, ad it will convert them into the iTunes format. For your LimeWire songs (I'm assuming they're MP3s) you can add the files to your library and they will also be converted.

hope I helped!

You don't have to PAY for iTunes. You can download it free and you can probably transfer all the songs you have now onto it. Plus, you don't have to buy every song off the internet- you can just pop in a cd and copy it to iTunes. I think that the iPod will only work on iTunes. If you get a new iPod, there is a cd that comes with it free that has th newest version of iTunes on it. Good luck with getting your iPod!

yeah, you can put the songs from limewire and window`s media player, you make the CD`s for WMP and
for limewire, you just make the iTunes half of the screen and iTunes half of the screen, then you just drag the songs from limewire to iTunes.

that sounds confusing but yeah... i have a Video iPod, i have 1,400 songs and i`ve only downloaded like 10. <33

if you have any other questions, leave me a message i my inbox or iM me.

Hope I Helped. =)

Well you have to download itunes to get music onto the ipod. But you can tranfer it, thats what i did. When you get iTunes just go to "File", then go to "Add file to library", then just fine the folder where all of your music is help open it and all the music will go to itunes.

Unless you want to buy a song off of the music store itunes is totally free.
You will deffinitly be able to have all your music and songs in iTunes and it is all a fairly simple process to more them from limewire. As for Windows Media Player i think it would be easier to just get the cds and import tem striaght to itunes.
=D
Hope this helps
If you want me to explain more about this or to walk you thru it step by step IM me or leave a message in my inbox.

iTunes is free. The only thing you pay for is the songs. You have to have itunes i think. You can transfer your LimeWire music to iTunes and it will go on your Ipod.
