For other drugs it's generally the same indications. If you see people with bloodshot eyes, smell "different", and/or seem less motor or mechanically coordinated. Like someone who would be drunk. [ PunkieFreak4690's advice column | Ask PunkieFreak4690 A Question ]
lulabelle answered Monday July 24 2006, 6:09 pm: No, you don't get physically addicted to pot, but I've known a few people who've gotten addicted emotionally to it. Some people use pot and cocaine to self medicate for conditions like depression and ADD/ADHD. These drugs actually have a soothing effect on these people. If you notice a friend is unusually dependent on these drugs you may want to have a talk w/them and see if they won't go to a doctor who can give them the medication they may need. The signs of someone using drugs is different depending upon what they are taking. Pot, for example, does have the red eyes and calming effect on most people. But, someone can use eye drops and you'd never know. Cocaine, speed or meth, people usually can't sleep, have jerky movements and speech patterns. They loose a lot of weight and can be extremely volatile in behavior unless they have ADD or ADHD. Any speed like drug has a reverse effect on people w/this condition. Heroin, people seem to get really skinny and their teeth rot and fall out, not a pretty sight. I've never been around anyone (that I know of) who was under the influence of heroin so I don't know what to expect here. I have seen documentaries and that's where I get my physical description from. I have included some websites that will give you a more detailed description of signs of drug abuse. Good luck!

brookagurl answered Monday July 24 2006, 5:57 pm: No u dont get addicted(most ppl just get addicted to the idea of being addicted) and yes you get tired and your eyes get red......some people use visine. Drugs are stupid.....they cause poor judgement and they cost a lot of money. They are for the weak souls. And some of the more serious drugs will cause death if abused. My young close friend died this year from overdosing on methadone. He was only 16. [ brookagurl's advice column | Ask brookagurl A Question ]
