my middle name
my middle name is laverne I hate my middle name becouse everybody picks on me about it somehow people found out what it was at school and started making fun of me about it,my mom tells me that my middle name was my dad's middle name that's the only good thing about it.what should I do?

Act like you don't care. They only do it because you're obviously getting mad. They think it's fun. But if you act like you do not like it, they will stop. If someone says haha Laverneee... say "What's funny about that?" or if they say "lavernee..haha" you say "(their name) haha..." I personally like the name Laverne.

Your classmates are picking on you because they've found something that gets a rise out of you. They'll keep picking and picking because they enjoy the reaction you give them.
I could tell you to ignore them, or to give back as good as you get. But I think there's a better way.
You say you hate your middle name because your classmates pick on you about it. If someone asked them, they would probably say that they pick on you *because* you hate your middle name.
Its what's called a vicious circle.
The solution is to break the circle.
You can't change what *they* do, but you can change what *you* do.
Learn to love your name.
Laverne means "Springtime", a time when pretty flowers are blooming and birds are singing after a long, cold winter.
It's a lovely name with a long history, and yes it's appropriate for both boys and girls.
Once you learn to like the name that your parents lovingly gave to you, your classmates' taunts won't bother you nearly so much.

what i think you should do is to find out something about the ppl that are makeing fun of your name and make fun of them for whatever that thing is for example, if they make fun of you just look at them and say at least my feet arent so big, or something like that.

Believe me, sweetie, there's tons of middle names that are worse then yours. I like yours to tell you the truth. It's different and uncommon, that's what I like about it best. You should be proud of it :].
When people are making fun of your middle name at school, simply ignore them. The only reason why they keep making fun of you for is, is because they know it's getting to you. Next time, don't even reply to them. Just smile and walk away. Once they know it's not bothering you anymore, they'll stop. ♥

Here's what you do, when they start making fun of you simply say the following or somthing along the lines, "Are you seriously a sad enough person that you have to make fun of me for somthing compleatly beyond my control, what the hell is wrong with you, are you that sad? (now here you can have fun and im jsut throwing insults out, by all means feel free to use them) I mean, i can't control this, but you guys, cmon, how bout you ass breath, you forget to brush your teeth this year or do you use it to wipe up shit first, and you, i kno you have the IQ of are president but cmon, you can think of better, how bout you daddy's reject, you can find better ways to impress your dad... then again he thinks your a itch anyway. (your goal here is t make theses asses feel like it's not worth there time and efort to insult you.) then ask them what their middle name is,ssee if anyone has got one better. or do what my brother did (this is a joke, don't do what my brother did, and yes he really did do this) fill a squirt gun with piss and hold it to the kids face.

Ignore them and don't respond to that name if you don't like it. Then you could change it, or just get over it.
It's not the worst middle name I've ever heard and if it didn't so obviously bother you maybe people wouldn't have such a good time teasing you about it.
You could legally change it, but that would be a bit disrespectful to your father and would probably only make the kids at school tease you even more.
