Does nair hair removal work?

Question Posted Wednesday July 19 2006, 10:05 pm

I do not like shaving, and am looking for an alternate solution. Do the "Nair" products work, and if so, which ones?

I personally think Nair does work but the problem is that it has the nastiest smell in the world & it burns at times. I would advise Veet becasue it`s the same thing but it doesn`t burn & it doesn`t smell. There are other things that remove hair & work that are at your local drug store.

Hope I helped!

I have a friend that uses Nair and Veet sometimes, though I don't know which products.

I too hate shaving, but I found out very quickly that I was allergic to Nair. If you're considering using a non-razor hair removal product, try it out on a small portion of your leg. I failed to do this and both of my legs had hives. It hurt quite badly.
Just a bit of advice there.

When I was young they sucked now adays I use the veet in shower one and I don't need to shave my legs at all. I find that it also lasts longer then shaving.

As for shaving other 'parts' I only use waxing for my eyebrows and bikini area, I don't trust the veet on my face or anywhere NEAR my bikini line.

Hope this helped.

Yes Nair works great. Just do not use in bikini area unless it says you can because it will cause burns. :)
