ferretlover answered Thursday July 20 2006, 10:35 am: I don't really use foundation, for the simple reason of not wanting to spend $12 on a 35ml bottle of the stuff, but i can suggest a really good powder, NYC pressed or loose powder is awesome, it really controls the shine and its so light on my face, it doesn't weigh you down. Also a good concealer is NYC or wet n wild. NYC has special concealers for blemishes and under eye circles to. I'd say for the price of a bottle of cover girl foundation($10-$13) you could probably get NYC liquid makeup $4(aka foundation), 2 concealers $1.99 ea. NYC pressed & loose powder $1.99-$2.99 ea. Depending on the store. But if you need a fancy name brand i would highly suggest loreal true match foundation at around $11.99. [ ferretlover's advice column | Ask ferretlover A Question ]
LM answered Wednesday July 19 2006, 11:02 pm: I love the foundation from Maybelline's new Pure. line, it's the one in the squeeze container. I've also heard good things about the dream matte mousse.
For powder, Either CoverGirl, Maybelline, or NYC. They're all good.
hannahd answered Wednesday July 19 2006, 8:33 pm: I've tried just about every brand of foundation. & the best one I've come across, that I'd suggest is Loreal Ideal Balance Foundation (liquid.) It's in the $10-$12 range, but definitely worth it. For powder coverup, I suggest Maybelline. [ hannahd's advice column | Ask hannahd A Question ]
abbyxoxo answered Wednesday July 19 2006, 7:16 pm: covergirl cover up works pretty good, its a powder in a sort of flat, round container. it usually comes in brown or green (the container). just find your right color and youll be all set..
XoRoxy answered Wednesday July 19 2006, 6:30 pm: I use Cover Girl for both. Then powder is in a round thing with a brown lid. & the foundation is in a glass bottle with a blue cap. They work good. No shine.
