I had recently go highlights and didn't like them, so I dyed my hair dark brown. but it came out darker than I expected and now my face looks a little pale.
Go ahead and be a little pale while you're waiting for your hair to grow back out. What harm does it do? If you really can't deal with it, make an appointment with a cosmetologist and discuss some makeup options. [ Xenolan's advice column | Ask Xenolan A Question ]

Although I have olive skin it still made me look more pale than usual and I hate being pale! Try visiting a tanning salon and go three times a week, or lay outside for 45 min or so to get some color. Otherwise, take a healthier route and try applying a powdered bronzer to your face & neck that blends well with your skin tone but not too much because you dont want it to look fake or orange. Also, dont wear too much dark eye makeup, I believe that doesn't help either. [ Mikaela86's advice column | Ask Mikaela86 A Question ]
Michelley answered Tuesday July 18 2006, 1:35 am: 12-3 is the best time to tan because the sun is right over head. If you go to a pool, you'll get more tan because the sun reflects off the water so you get more uv rays.
or try a self tanner for faces (they're usually lotions). you really have to be careful, tanning outside or in a bed might give you a pretty tan now, but in 10 years you'll be wrinkly and old looking...self tanners are much better for your skin

abbyxoxo answered Monday July 17 2006, 9:11 pm: im not sure what time is best to sun tan sorry.. but since you just dyed your hair, the color will fade, i had the same thing happen, but i was pale anyway. so you shouldnt worry too much.
more_than_a_feeling answered Monday July 17 2006, 7:09 pm: Try sunless tanner but don't get a cheap one...invest a little in your skin haha. If you're too nervous to use sunless tanner (like me), the best time to tan is between 12PM and 3PM. Use a low SPF (like SPF 8 or 6) suntan lotion to prevent sun burn!! Brandi_S answered Monday July 17 2006, 5:47 pm: Hair coloring usually fades after so many washes. So if you want to lighten the color without using more chemicals, you can try to wash it several times. The more you wash the more it fades.
Hope that helps [ Brandi_S's advice column | Ask Brandi_S A Question ]
charli answered Monday July 17 2006, 5:41 pm: Usually summer. However, if you want a nice broze glow then why not get it out of a bottle or even use bronzing pearls. Stay away from dark eye make up as it will make you look even more like casper. (no offence intended lol) Try to keep away from dark clothing too. Also you could try geting some blonde or lighter highlights in you hair to warm up the colour which may help. [ charli's advice column | Ask charli A Question ]
