Question Posted Friday July 14 2006, 1:19 pm

13/f

My mom and I are both 32A. I've been growing since I was 9, and my mom started growing really late. Does that mean they won't grow anymore? And also, do breasts go on the maternal gene or paternal gene?

I have heard that breasts keep developing until age 18. Don't worry about it, most 13 year olds don't have large breasts anyway. Make sure that you're healthy and that you're at the correct body weight. For the gene part, I think that breast size could be both. Your mom's genes will influence breast size, but it's possible that your dad's could, too. He carrys genes from his mothers', even though he does not have breasts (hopefully!). But like I said, don't worry about it. You have to at least grow some more, you're only 13.

you should keep growing up to about 20 (some may be longer or shorter, it depends on the girl). also it can be a maternal or paternal gene, or a combination of both

I wouldn't worry about it. You don't stop growing untill you are 18.(In most casses.) But there are alot of people that are bigger than there moms and so on and so forth. SO I hope this helps. Good Luck in the future

i think it is maternal because my mom is a C but my sister is a D. you should keep growing. remeber you are only thirteen. you have plenty of time left for them to grow. dont worry about it.
