So there's this guy at work (we're both 17) that I really like. When ever we work together, I always talk to him, sit with him on my break and stuff. My other 2 friends that work with him in his department keep joking around that we should hook up, which makes me wonder if he talks about me or has told them something. I also don't want it to get out that I like him because he's a good friend of mine and i don't want it to be weird at work if i did make a move or if he knew I liked him. I gave him my e-mail address 30 days ago, so like a month ago, and he never did anything with it. no e-mails or anything. so i don't know if he does actually like me like that and i would prefer not to have to tell anyone about it 'cause i don't want him to find out......
What should I do??¿??

I've done it, once it ended badly, second time, well, we're still together... :) But if you like him, let him know. Guys can be pretty dense sometimes when it comes to signals and stuff, so maybe this time instead of your email address, give him your phone number, or ask for his. Just because he hasn't done anything with your email address doesn't mean he doesn't like you. Maybe he lost it, or maybe he doesn't have the internet, or something boring like that. If he doesn't know that you like him, he won't pursue it. But if you know that he likes you, and he knows that you like him, it will only be a matter of time before you hook up. If he doesn't like you, then at least you'll know, and you can try to move on. [ tiffanyD's advice column | Ask tiffanyD A Question ]

Eventually you should get the message wether or not he's interested. Daniel. [ jumadel's advice column | Ask jumadel A Question ]

I would ask one of the people who worked with me and him to try to find out what he thinks about you and what his feelings are. If you don't want him to find out then ask them not to tell him. Let them know you are serious, if you can trust them in that way, I don't know how close you are with them, or how close he is with them. Hope I Helped! miren2k answered Monday July 10 2006, 5:57 pm: You're obviously confused; if you really like him, then try flirting with him a bit, don't expect guys to email, they don't do that kind of stuff - do you have msn? he might talk to you on that, but really don't expect guys to email you ever it's just not a thing they do, so that's more hope for you I guess =]
Ask your friends if he talks about you, get some more information and perhaps hang out with him, as a friend. If you like him a lot then you should atleast hang out, perhaps he will make a move on you. My advice is to not "stop liking him" or "go straight for him" just build up more of a liking and more of a relationship. [ miren2k's advice column | Ask miren2k A Question ]
LilMia811 answered Monday July 10 2006, 4:22 pm: well soumds to me like you are a little confused... you like him yet you dont want him to know??? then what do you want??? if you dont want him to know then you must not really want to pursue anything with him because if you did then you would want to tell him something. so think about it... what do you really want? something or nothing? if you want something then make a move and just take the chance, if you dont want to risk it then you're gonna have to find a way to stop liking him, and i have a feeling that thats gonna be hard. so looks like you have some hard thinking to do. kevin1986 answered Monday July 10 2006, 4:21 pm: Hey, ask him out. Be clear that it's a date. And that way even if he says no, it didn't get weird between yall. Nothing happened except you didnt go out. Guys usually call or email if they care about you, but I don't like talking on the phone or shit like that, so that doesn't mean anything. Give it a try. He seems like he's not a complete loser. [ kevin1986's advice column | Ask kevin1986 A Question ]
