Colored Liner/Whats Best?
I was considering buying some colored eyeliner. But then i started thinking, is that tacky? Is it better to just stick to black and brown liner? Also i was wondering if colored liners come in liquid. I really need to buy some new make-up i have some MAC eyeshadow and i really like it so is there any similar kind of high-end make-up that isn't to expensive.I know that this is a lot of questions in one but, does it look better to line the top thin or thick and line just the top or does it look better to line the top and bottom. Sometimes when i line the bottom of my eye the liquid will get it with my contact.
So just any thoughts on this would be awesome.

well i'm pretty sure there is color liquid eyeliner. you can buy make-up at rite-aid or CVS and eyeliner usually runs from $5-$7 i think. it depends on the color of your eye, the shape of your eyes, and your face about the thin and thick lines thing. i like it on both with thin lines or on the bottom i medium line. i have never tried it on just the top. but if you go to a kohl's or strawbridge's or hecht's (if you live somewhere with those stores) they will do a free make-over thing on you and they will tell you what they like the most and what looks good on you and stuff. but they expect you to buy the make-up i think which at those kinds of stores, the eyeliner is like $20 but you could tell them thanks and you would bring your mom in to buy the make-up for you and then just never show up, lol. hope this helped..good luck

I've heard that if you have blue eyes to wear green or brown eyeliner, if you have brown eyes to wear purple or black, and if you have hazel eyes to wear either a light or dark blue.
Also i'm not positive, but i'm pretty sure there is color liquid eyeliner.
Also - what i said about the colors you dont have to completely follow, definitely try a bunch so you can see what looks best on you. i like to wear purple, but so does my friend & she has bright blue eyes, it looks really good w/ her tho. So Yeah. Lastly, i use Almay & its not too expensive, but not liquid.. which is probably a little more expensive depending on what quality you want tho, depends on how much you'll spend.
OH yeah & just to help you out a little bit more, if you go to like the beauty department in like a Kohl's or something like that, if you ask some of the ladies will let you try the eyeliners that they think are best, and let you put on like 3 or 4 different colors or kinds. i love colored eyeliner don't get blue because that sometimes looks gross but any other color is great. yes colored eyeliner does come in liquid. but sometimes with the liquid color eyeliner the color gets all over your face and then you look like a clown. it's happened to me.there is lots of good colors at walgrens but i'm not really sure about the names sorry. i hope i helped and i hope you find good eyeliner.

i dont really think its tacky, but it sort of depends on your skin color. im pretty sure that they do come in liquid but i dont know a similar kind that isnt that expensive. it looks better to line the top thin, and it looks a lot better to line the bottom too, because thats like the main part, and you can see it a lot better than on the top. just bet careful to only get the edge of your eye and not get inside.

its up to you really - wearing coloured eyeliner doesn't look tacky unless you wear it with something off. personally i don't think coloured eye-liner is tacky because well my friends use coloured eyeliner and it looks pretty good. and yes i think coloured eyeliners are also avilable in liquid. but i'm not too sure about another brand of makeup being cheap but good as well... you might be able to get help from a make-up counter in a department store, just ask the lady there about the best kind of make-up for teens that isn't too expensive and you can also ask her to show you if it's better to line the top thin or thick etc. alternativly you could just exprient at home, do all the combinations of make-up you can think of and decide for yourself (or even have a friend over to help you) what suits you the best.
