orphans answered Friday July 28 2006, 4:34 pm: Your dog may have had a seizure. Getting a vet checkup is a great idea for the health and longevity for your dog.
What might also be happening is sometimes dogs get very shaken up by noise. This may happen at any time in the dog's life. You may want to spend some quiet time with your dog and periodically give her some time alone throughout the day.

isis answered Wednesday July 5 2006, 4:31 am: She does need to see a vet.
It could be a neurological problem, her heart, a seizure, poison, back injury, viral etc, etc.
The sooner she is seen by a vet the more chance there is of a quick relief.
Any abnormal behaviour in an animal should be checked out by a vet. Most animals will try to cover up symptoms of illness for as long as they canm as instinct tells them any signs of it will make them appear more vulnerable, so more open to attack.
Hope that helps and good luck with her. [ isis's advice column | Ask isis A Question ]

We were giving him ham regularly and once we took it away the seizures stopped. It isnt just ham it is meat products. [ KiNky4bLiNk182's advice column | Ask KiNky4bLiNk182 A Question ]
kaylawayla56 answered Tuesday July 4 2006, 11:36 pm: um well it sounds to me like a seizure but im not sure. if it was a seizure i suggest you take her to a vet right away because that usually means something is wrong with her brain. since she is an older dog, you might want to have her checked out just in case!
