i am a dancer and cheerleader so i can help you out. well what i did to make my jumps better was to start on my toes and swing your arms and when they reach exactly the pointe were there about to go up bend down and push off. aslo do certain leg strengthing exercises to strengthin your legs to jump higher. such as squats, jumping jacks, or anything thats a simple excersise. hope i helped!

I as well am a cheerleader and have fairly decent jumps. I know one stretch that will help your jumping (especially your toetouches) and will help your flexibility in the air.

They are called leg rolls.

1. Sit on the floor with your legs spread. Place your left hand in front, and right hand behind you.

2. Keep your back straight and raise one leg. Roll your leg in a backwards motion 10 times. Then do the other leg.

3. After doing both legs, pull both up at the same time and roll them together.

Remember to keep your back as straight as possible.

If you do like knee squats everyday your legs will get stronger. I do that & I play basketball. I can jump pretty high =)

you can take classes like along with tumbling classes at the YMCA or wherever they're offered. I've heard trampolines help with jumps too. <3
