For your height, 152 is not too heavy. But there is always room for improvement. If you want to lose some weight, then an easy way to start is to speed up your metabolism. To do this, make sure you drink plenty of water. Your liver is responsible for burning the calories that you eat, and your kidneys need a lot of water to function, so if you are dehydrated, the liver will have to help out the kidneys and it won't be able to burn as many calories as fast. Also, eat breakfast, preferably one that is high in carbs and fiber and low in fat. You should have a 300-400 calorie breakfast to kickstart your metabolism. Trust me, you'll burn about 200 more calories each day by eating in the morning, and you'll probably eat less later in the day. Never go for more than 4 hours without eating. Some people say you should eat 4-6 small meals each day, but that doesn't happen if you're a busy person. So try to occasionally munch on a few cashews or a banana. And remember to exercise. If you build up a lot of muscle, you'll be burning more calories, even in your sleep! Good luck

i myself have the same problem i wanna be shorter to i'm like 5'8" but i think that since you've been playin sports and cheerin you've gained alot of muscle not fat; so i think the 22 pounds of fat u think you gained was just 22 pounds of muscles being gained from workin out and bein active

Hey I was reading your questions and thought I would give some good adivice other than, oh go work out it helps because it's really not that easy I have tried dieting and all of that crap and it really doesn't work. So what I did that really helped me, I joined weight watchers now you don't have to be over weight or anything because I am not but I simply wanted to learn how to eat healthier so that in the future I could still take care of my self I have lost so much!! and it's so easy go for it it's all about self motivation, you have to really push yourself!! GOOD LUCK...

Okay first of you are pretty tall and 152lbs is not heavy. If you like the way you are then stay that way, but if you feel that you could shed a few pounds then go ahead. Only a few pounds though. So you makie your choice

If you need someone to compare to, I am 5'7" and 140 lbs. By the way, the picture I have on advicenators shows my good half. Everything below the waist on me is kinda fatter than proportion to the rest of my body.

You're not really big, you're average. If you go to this page [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) it'll show you the different exercises & what you can eat so you can lose weight. Someone for your height should weigh somewhere between 130-140 if you want to be that skinny.
