All excellent books that are at a high school reading level and above. I would also like to applaud you on your efforts for wanting to gain knowledge, dang I wish I was like that haha.
Jess5764 answered Wednesday June 28 2006, 10:53 am: i LOVED crime and punishment, the da vinci code, catch-22. all of those will build your knowledge and make you think. crime and punishment might be a little hard to read but it is an amazing book and one of the best i've read in a long time. if you're into art and stuff you would like the da vinci code, and catch-22 is a hilarious satirical novel about the stupidity of war. C&P and catch-22 both have a lot of knowledge in them and you will def be smarter for reading them.
