S_C answered Friday June 23 2006, 11:13 pm: My parents had to change my brother's number because he signed up for stuff over the internet and recieved text messages from these people like everyday and was being charged and was unable to stop them. It was a huge mess. I'm pretty sure they weren't charged to change the number. It could have just been our provider (cingular) but most likely (especially for privacy reasons) you won't be charged. If so, it will be inexpensive. [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]
DancinCutie08 answered Friday June 23 2006, 10:38 pm: I would say its either free of very very cheap. If its the first time they prob would let you do it for free but if you do it regularly they may charge you
it really depends on your service though. if you have a pre-paid phone you most likely will have to pay to change your number but if its a big brand like t-mobile or verizon they shouldn't charge you [ DancinCutie08's advice column | Ask DancinCutie08 A Question ]
