However the real turning point in any fitness endeavour is the diet. Most people dont understand that lots of exercising will not just wipe away a bad diet, and this includes the advertised "healthy" snacks like 100 calorie packs, trail mix, Special K, etc. Now you have some hope here because you made it clear you want to eat right- just combine this with weight training and/or cardio workouts for 30-60 mins 3 to 4 times per week and you will be losing weight at an excellent rate. Most of all- don't find this to be a chore or a passing fad...make this your lifestyle because there is nothing more important than your health. [ MikeCFT's advice column | Ask MikeCFT A Question ]

Cj answered Saturday June 17 2006, 1:08 am: The key word here is "could"
It is possible to lose up to ten pounds in 1 week. But not for more than 1 week. And you will probably gain back a bit quite quickly.
If it is June right now, and your goal is not until September, I would say about 10 to 20 pounds. But it depends on your original weight, how healthy your new diet is, and how much exercise you actually do. While jumping on the trampolin does tire you and make you sweat a lot, not much work is being done. Jogging will help much more. [ Cj's advice column | Ask Cj A Question ]
TEENAGExHEARTS answered Saturday June 17 2006, 12:56 am: well on the average diet you can lose up to 3 pounds a week. but after dieting and exercising for a long time your body will start to get used to the diet and stop losing as much weight. just remember to be patient with the weight and don't go on an unhealthy diet. if you eat healthy and exercise daily you could probably lose up to 15 pounds this summer, but that is only if you are really dedicated to the diet routine.
remember to always drinks LOTS of water. i recomend drinking about 6-8 bottles of water A DAY. =]
