Cocoa butter is the best thing you can probably get besides surgery. Try getting sunscreen with cocoa butter or other ingredients that can help you tan without getting the burn. They have many different varieties and SPF levels that can you choose from at any drugstore.

a high spf lotion.. that will be the only sugesstion other then tan in the shade.

or you can go to the tanning salon and geta base tan .. go three or four times. 15 minutes a piece.. and you will have a base tan and u wont burn. repeat that like monthly.

use a high SPF tanning oil. don't stay outside for too long at first. you might also want to get an after-sun lotion (banana boat makes a lotion like this) to keep your skin moisturized. as you keep tanning, you may be able to lower the SPF on your tanning oil/sunscreen and stay outside longer, but don't chance it when you first start. just remember to reapply sunscreen often and keep track of time when you're tanning.

For people who burn easly, they need to use SPF 15 or higher. If not that, use any sun screen tanning lotion that will protect your skin. You can lay out in your backyard for a couple of hours or you can eather go to a tanning bed or mystic tanning. Mystic tanning is really good and it doesn't give you spots. If you do go to a tanning bed, make sure that you use moisturazor every time you get out.

Put on some sunscreen (SPF 15 or 20) and lay in your backyard for a while (or a tanning bed)- but no more than 15-20 minutes. If that makes you sunburned...I know you said no self tanner, and I understand that completely...but maybe try a lotion that has a really subtle tanner built in, like Jergen's Natural Glow- you build up instead of turning brown in a day- and they make a face one too.

But remember, even if you have sunscreen on, if you're in the sun long enough you probably will get at least a slight tan.

Try a tanning bed. Put on a high SPF before you go, and only go for a few minutes. That way you will work up your tan, and you won't get burned as easily. Hope this helps.
