I'm not sure if its "legal" on this site to ask this question, but if it's not, could to re-direct me to a site that could help me?
This monday, I have off from school. I'm giving myself a total makeover. Hair, nails, everything. What I need, and what I have NO experience in, is makeup. Is there a place where I could submit my picture and have people give me makeup advice?
I think you should try going to a local makeup place, such as Ulta, dillards, foleys. [somewhere where they give free makeovers] And ask them to give you one. They'll give you advice for what products to buy and what looks best on you.
If you can't do that, i suggest buying your basic makeup supplies, such as Foundation, Bronzer, Eyeliner, Mascara, Lipgloss, Blush. Pick colors that you like and you think would look good on you. Ask the store employee for help choosing colors for your skin.

For hair, look through some magazines and pick out hair styles you like and go to a hair salon and ask them to try to do their best with that.
Nails i would say buy some glue on ones at wal*mart, or just paint them yourself.

Actually, it wouldn't hurt to try them all out. They can show you the colors and techiques that would work best on you and then you can go to the drug store and pick out comperable colors for less money. You don't have to buy anything form one of their makeovers. You can also check w/the department stores for upcoming makeover events. These are a lot of fun because during these events they give away gifts with the makeovers or with a minimum purchase for as little as $18. I use to be a Business Manager for Clinique and people were forever coming for makeovers w/o buying anything. We loved doing it, so don't worry about that and enjoy yourself.
