CiNdYLoUwHoO answered Tuesday May 23 2006, 9:49 pm: I usually sleep with a tampon in and it's no big deal. However if your scared, go to a drugstore and buy an overnight pad. That will do the trick. Hope this helps and have fun at your sleepover.

xoxDaneCookRox answered Tuesday May 23 2006, 9:37 pm: You could use either. I have always been scared to leave a tampon in over night because of TSS. Usuallly you should change a tampon every 4 hours so you might wanna go with a pad.
Christine1993 answered Tuesday May 23 2006, 9:26 pm: ok well i hear there are some special pads that are made for sleeping and i hear tampons are good.. but i hear they are good for about four hours... the line between a tampon and a pad depends on your flow. DarkChocolate794 answered Tuesday May 23 2006, 9:23 pm: You should wear pads because tampons have to be changed every 4-5 hours and when you are sleeping you wake up 8-9 hours later and you might get toxic shock syndrome (sp?) which could kill you hope i helped (ps tampons are really uncomfortable so you would have problems sleeping) [ DarkChocolate794's advice column | Ask DarkChocolate794 A Question ]
betterthanyou_X3 answered Tuesday May 23 2006, 9:19 pm: You can keep a tampon in up to eight hours. So, usually, at sleep overs girls don't go to bed until late so you could always put it in right before you fall asleep and take it out the second you wake up.
But, if you think you're going to sleep in the next day, more than eight hours, then you should go with a pad. And since you'll be wearing pj pants/shorts, no one will notice the pad because those are usually baggy. [ betterthanyou_X3's advice column | Ask betterthanyou_X3 A Question ]
