is this weird?
i just asked a question about the guy i like but know that i think about it i feel its weird for a mixed girl (black and white) to go out with a white guy. is it weird? im afraid what people would say or how they would look at me. it worries me. im afraid people would talk about me and him. im getting very uncomfortable. is this weird?

Why would it be weird? You're both HUMAN aren't you? And if you can't go out with white guys, then by the same "logic" you wouldn't be able to go out with black guys--so who would you go out with? Don't worry about what other people think. Dating isn't about race, it's about two people who like each other. It's your business and only your business. You might get weird looks, which is really sad especially now when we're supposedly above things like that, but try your best to ignore them. Those kind of people don't matter.

To most, it is wierd. I have 2 friends, Robbie- black & Missy- white. When they had first started going out, everyone gave them so much crap. They got over it because THEY didn't care what others thought.It's 8 months later & they are still as strong. My point is, if you really like this guy, it shouldn't matter what others say.

There's nothing weird about it, you're both human beings so if you want to go out with him, do so. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks or says, if you're happy it's fine.
You will always get some people that will make adverse comments, but they are not worth the time spent in listening to them.

No. Its not at all weird. Don't worry about what people say. There will always be a few who will talk about you no matter who it is you date.

hey no i dont think this is weird at all! i've seen a lot of couples and known a few personaly and they make great couples. if people do say anything, it will be the jerky type people who are just jealous cause they can't get anybody. but most people arent really racist anymore. i think it doesnt really matter, its fine!!
