at my school they usually stand for weed...since that's where hemp comes from. but that's not for everyone. some are just for fun or because other people have them. they are in for summer and are easy to make so everyone has them. <3

They're mostly likely hemp. It's just a regular bracelet, but instead of string, metal, etc, they're made of the material hemp. They don't mean anything. They're just popular. Hope this helps!

plus the fact is that they are extremely easily. as long as you know how to braid like hair.

hey. you are probally seeing macrame or hemp bracelets. they are made of sort of a twine string and they are so much fun to make. they are pretty easy once you get the hang of it. you can get the supplies for it at any local craft store. i think this is what you are looking for, so here is a site to show you how to make them:
