My mom never wants me to pluck my eyebrows on my own, so she takes away the tweesers. (I don't think I do that bad of a job) But usually, I find the tweesers and fix up my eyebrows.
But I can't find them, and my eyebrows are really growing back. All I have are these big tweesers that open real wide and are really hard to use.
I should get them professionally done, but I'm embarrassed to ask my mom. help asap?

There isn't any reason why your mother would do this unless you aren't doing a good job and are embarrassing yourself. You apparently don't realize this. If you don't agree with what I'm saying, why not ask your mother if she thinks you look bad, and maybe ask her to puck them for you. [ Tulipg17's advice column | Ask Tulipg17 A Question ]
S2BaBiDawLS2 answered Monday May 8 2006, 9:10 pm: just tell your mom straight up. its not a big deal. just say "mom im insecure about my eyebrows and i think it would make me a lot happier if i got them professially done, considering you wont let me do them myself" [ S2BaBiDawLS2's advice column | Ask S2BaBiDawLS2 A Question ]
Rebekah answered Monday May 8 2006, 9:02 pm: Just tell her that if she doesn't want you to do it yourself, then you would like to get them done professionally. That's it! At least you are keeping yourself beautiful right? (people who don't pluck their eyebrows, but REALLY need to, are kinda scary) so yeah. Just tell her and see what happens. orphans answered Monday May 8 2006, 8:55 pm: well you're never going to be able to fix your eyebrows unless you ask your mom.
don't be embarassed about it, just ask her if you can go get your eyebrows waxed or threaded or whatever you want to do.
if she says no for some reason, then ask her if you can pluck your eyebrows by yourself again.
if she says no to that too, then ask her if she can just do it for you. i know it sounds weird, but if she doesn't want you doing it yourself, then just let her do it. it's better than having them grow out and look really weird.
myusername1 answered Monday May 8 2006, 7:45 pm: i know exactly how you feel! i was in the same position. dont be embarassed tho, if she doesnt want you doing them yourself, then its ok for you to ask that you want someone professional to do it for you. waxing is not as bad as it sounds and you shouldnt wax that much off because you want semi-thick shaped eyebrows, not thin thin. ive been having a pro do mine for a while and i love them! after you ask your mom, and pursuade her to go get them done and see the result, you will be glad you went through the effort and now you can get them done regularly! hope i helped much luck to you!! =) [ myusername1's advice column | Ask myusername1 A Question ]
herbivore answered Monday May 8 2006, 7:36 pm: hey. dont be embarassed to ask. if she doesnt want you to do them yourself then she should at least get them done by a pro. its is good to get them done because they can shape then and then you only have to pluck the ones that grow back. hope this helps!! :) ♥ ♥ ♥ [ herbivore's advice column | Ask herbivore A Question ]
LiKEASUNSEtTOMEx answered Monday May 8 2006, 7:06 pm: you shouldn't be embarressed to ask your mom about those type of things. if she just doesn't think you're old enough to get them professionally waxed then try to talk her into getting a waxing kit. they sell them at sally's beauty supply and places like that. or just try to convince her to give you back your tweezers because you're embarressed about your eyebrows and don't think it's right for her to "put you through that embarressment". lol. hope i helped. love, kali.
