what is a recipe for chocolate chip cookies from scratch?? include everything please.

Here's the standard Toll House cookie recipe:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks, 1/2 pound) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated [white] sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups (12-ounce package) NESTLE TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 cup chopped nuts

COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition; gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

BAKE in preheated 375-degree [Fahrenheit] oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

PAN COOKIE VARIATION: PREPARE dough as above. Spread into greased 15"x10" jelly-roll pan. Bake in preheated 375-degree [Fahrenheit] oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack.

SECRET: If you've read this far, I'll tell you a good variation that I discovered. Add one package of dry vanilla instant pudding mix to the powdered ingredients before you mix them in. The cookies will be moister and better-tasting.

You can use a different flavor of instant pudding mix, and you'll change the cookies completely. Sometimes the result can be really good. I added a package of chocolate devil's food pudding mix to the recipe once, and got great devil's food chocolate-chocolate chip cookies!

I am not going to snottily tell you to google this. I will give you my famous recipe that my mother taught me when I was a little girl.

Nowadays you would probably want to use an elecrtic mixer to combine ingredients.
Things you need
-bowl
-large glass pan (greased)
-microvave (I have adapted my recipe to fit modern times)
-Oven set to 375 degrees
_________________________

-two sticks of unsalted butter
-3/4 cups sugar
-3/4 cups brown sugar
-1tsp vanilla
-2 large eggs
-2 1/4 cups of flour
-1tsp baking soda
-1tsp salt
-2 cups semi sweet cocolate chips

-set the oven
Now, melt the butter in the microwave for 37 seconds.
-mix the melted butter, sugar, and brown sugar.
-after that is mixed well, add vanilla and eggs.
-mix these together well.
-now add one of the cups of flour, and mix.
-add the second cup of flour, and mix.
-for the 1/4 cup of flour, measure it, then add the salt and baking soda to the little bit of flour before adding the 3 powders to the mix.
-next, add the chocolate chips, but DO NOT MIX THEM IN WITH AN ELECTRIC MIXER. the chips mus be hand stirred in.
-spread mix into the greased pan
-cook for 22-25 min or untill finished!
