Question Posted Monday April 24 2006, 9:02 am

Well me and certain boy went out like last summer and we have always had an on and off thing for the past year. Me n him are talking again but I wanna tell him I don't wanna be there just as a girl he can come back to everytime. How can I tell him this politely but still be his friend?

be honest and open. and sometimes its best to be straight to the point as well. i doubt he will be hurt by you saying that - he might even feel bad for putting you, his friend through that,.

hope this helps!! :] ♥

Start talking to him more than get into the convo about you being a back up and be like that's just how I feel.Guys don't get mad or offended that easily.

Firstly, start to hang out with him more and just act like nothings wrong. After that when you feel more comfortable around him start giving him little hints and then sooner or later come around and tell him.

Good luck hun

Sometimes, the easiest thing to do is just say what you're thinking.
