Try joining a sport you enjoy; soccer, basketball, volleyball, dance, karate (my personal choice). It's a lot more fun to exercise when you're doing something you enjoy.
Don't, as a person below suggested, look at "pretty, skinny chicks on tv", because they're usually unrealistic and digitally edited. Just aim to be healthy and happy with your self-image! [ NinjaNeer's advice column | Ask NinjaNeer A Question ]

-orange juice is one of the best ever. it is an extremely good beverage (and tasty too!!). my gramma used to say 'one glass of orange juice everyday will keep you alive forever'. but dont get your hopes up, im just saying =)
-bananas = barely any sugars, one of the healthiest fruits out there also.
-mcdonalds (mostly fries) is now loaded with more TRANSFAT << BASICALLY DEATH. i know people say its bad for you but .. you have noo idea. oh and they're starting to make burger with meal worms. try to aviod mcdonalds or if its a must, get a salad or fruit bowl.
-to stay fit and build leg muscles, take a simple jog around the block. i know its hard at first but if you push then it will make you in so much better shape. if you get side stitches, clasp your hands on your head and take a small breather.
-think of those pretty, skinny chicks in the music videos =) thats your goal and whenever you're thinking about grabbing a bowl of ice cream while you're watching tv, think twice about the consequences.
-an easy to assemble work out: get a stool or small chair. jump up and down and bring one foot at a time up to touch the seat of the chair. go fast and after only a few, YOU WILL FEEL THE BURN!
-crunches: simple but 30 every night. it starts hurting after 15 but omg if you do them every night for a while, the results are fantastic.
-theres these shakes called 'Ensure' (all different kinds of flavors) and they're soooo incredibly healthy for you. if you replace one of your snacks with those drinks everyday, you will probably be the healthiest woman alive. warning: they're absolutely digusting and i gag everytime i try to drink them but hey, it might be different for you. try them!!!!
herbivore answered Wednesday April 12 2006, 8:33 pm: hey. it sounds like you are at the perfect weight for your height and age. but if you do want to loose a few lbs, you can do it the most effectivly by drinking lots of water, eating 5-6 servings of fruits and veggies, maybe take a walk or run for like 10-20 minutes each day and try to avoid eating unhealthy snacks inbetween meals. hope this helps!! :) ♥ ♥ ♥ [ herbivore's advice column | Ask herbivore A Question ]
helpfulhintsviahannahx4 answered Wednesday April 12 2006, 8:29 pm: Try cutting out snacks in between meals or evening no desserts for a week or two.
One of my very best friends' went on the south beach diet, which meant that she couldn't eat meat for two weeks. I'm pretty sure it worked.
Some simple things you can do to exercise:
Try walking to school ,if you can
Walk up and down your stairs 10 times
Jumping Jacks- no really, they actually work
Stomach crunchies!!!
Take a walk with friends, or ride your bike
anything that works up a sweat
LadyGoodman answered Wednesday April 12 2006, 8:20 pm: You're underweight. If you want to lose 10 pounds, you're already in the mind set for being anorexic. I think you may have psychological issues. I am 5'2" and 107 and practically a stick! You should not lose even 5 pounds, let alone 10. [ LadyGoodman's advice column | Ask LadyGoodman A Question ]
