My best friends dog died, and I know the dog meant a lot to her mom. I love her mom to death and I want to do something special for her to make her feel a little better. Any suggestions?

Things like that. [ fish34's advice column | Ask fish34 A Question ]

On Dogs and Boys
Boys need dogs to go to,
When folks don’t understand.
There’s comfort in a wagging tail,
Rough tongue upon a hand.
Boys can walk, and think things out
When there’s a dog along.
I think sometimes the Lord made dogs
To make a boy grow strong.
A dog is better for a boy
Than a lot of fancy toys.
A dog is what a boy needs,
And dogs, of course, need boys. [ girlygirl's advice column | Ask girlygirl A Question ]

Well, there's a link to an extreme sad video. It will definitely make her cry, but it will be bittersweet. The point of the video is that even though the animal might not be visible.. that doesn't make them any more alive in our hearts, ya know? Perhaps you should take a look at it and decide if it's something you'd like to share with her. (= [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]

Dominicangrl123 answered Monday April 10 2006, 7:57 am: Maybe you can get a whole bunch of pictures of the dog and put them together on a poster or something and laminiate them just so the dog can always stay in there memory and in there heart....You could get them another dog that helped me when my dog ran away...get there mind off something else take them out do other acctivities so there not dwelling over the dog all day..
