Dog died..

Question Posted Monday April 10 2006, 5:52 am

My best friends dog died, and I know the dog meant a lot to her mom. I love her mom to death and I want to do something special for her to make her feel a little better. Any suggestions?

Well you could make her something,
or tell her how much you love her!
And just be there for her,
i wouldnt buy her a new dog though,
because thats like trying to replace her old one.
But aww i hope i helped.

A card would be one of the nicest things you could send, one that you send your sympathies and say something really nice, like a poem or something like "If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven, and bring her back again." Things like that.

Here's one of my favorite poem's they might enjoy....

On Dogs and Boys

Boys need dogs to go to,
When folks don’t understand.
There’s comfort in a wagging tail,
Rough tongue upon a hand.
Boys can walk, and think things out
When there’s a dog along.
I think sometimes the Lord made dogs
To make a boy grow strong.
A dog is better for a boy
Than a lot of fancy toys.
A dog is what a boy needs,
And dogs, of course, need boys.

if you have any pics of the dog maybe make her a collage of them with a caption about the dog. it would be a sweet gift. and maybe dry and flatted some flowers and put them on the collage

Well, there's a link to an extreme sad video. It will definitely make her cry, but it will be bittersweet. The point of the video is that even though the animal might not be visible.. that doesn't make them any more alive in our hearts, ya know? Perhaps you should take a look at it and decide if it's something you'd like to share with her. (=

Maybe you could make a scrapbook of all the pictures of the dog, and you could also bake a cake. Everybody loves cake.
