I am 14 years old and me and my boyfriend have sex and we use protection but on night my boyfriend put his penis a little bit in my vagina, and took it out again,, it wasn't even in there for a minute. He took it out and i wiped my self off. I missed my period this month, and i am worried that i might be pregnant, I am going through a lot of stress this month and I am sick with the flu.. but i am still scared that i might be pregrant, what do you think..
samanthab912 answered Saturday April 1 2006, 3:37 pm: Well, if your not sure if you are preganant or not, you SHOULD see a doctor ASAP. Because the more you hold it off the more likely you may get the baby sick. But it is normal to miss your period every so often because you still arent on track with your period schedule yet. But, definetley see a doctor, or even take a pregnancy test. Thats the way to go. Also, since you are so young, you should tell your guardian. If you dont tell them soon, they will probably get mad [ samanthab912's advice column | Ask samanthab912 A Question ]
Vikki27 answered Friday March 31 2006, 1:27 pm: Although it is possible to conceieve without the man climaxing, it's still relatively unlikely given the amount of time he was in you. I doubt you have anything to worry about but to be on the safe side I would recommend you have a pregnancy test.
I really think there's a bigger issue here however that needs to be addressed. You're only 14 and shouldn't be having sex for another 2 years at least. I don't want to bore you by sounding like a parent but I firmly believe that you should never ever have sex until you're over 16 and are at an age where you can cope with the consequences of your actions. Pregnancy is ALWAYS a possibility when you have sex, regardless of what contraception you're using because no method is 100% effective. At 14 years old you will not be old enough to cope with a baby and this is exactly why there are age restrictions when it comes to sex.
Yes, sex may be something you enjoy and there's no reason you shouldn't enjoy it. When you're old enough. So please think carefully about what you're doing. Sex is a huge deal and you have to be responsible with it so I would strongly recommend that you try to hold back until you're a little bit older. For you're own sake. karenR answered Tuesday March 28 2006, 6:13 pm: OK. I wasn't even going to answer this but I will. This is for all young girls your age and older.
Anytime you have penis entering vagina the possibility exists that you will get pregnant.
Protection or no protection. Protection of course being the preferred thing!
Stress and flu may cause your period to be delayed. At your age anything can cause your period to be delayed. That is why sex is discouraged in young girls. The hormones say yes, the body though is not mature enough. You will have missed periods and you will panic every time.
A very real possibility you and other young girls need to understand. A young man has very little control over ejaculating. Most, no control at all. He puts it in a warm place...It goes off.
It doesn't need be there for even a minute. Is he going to admit it? Probably not. Can you get pregnant? Most certainly.
Now, I am not saying you are pregnant. We have no way of knowing that. You may not be. You can take a test but they cost money. Better to wait it out.
I hope it doesn't sound as if I am picking on you. That isn't my intent at all. I just think that this is information you and other girls your age need to know.
The drawbacks of having sex at a young age are many. It can be a very scary thing. The consequences of having sex can change your entire life.
You girls need to think about yourselves because teenage boys (sorry guys) no matter how much they may say they love you have only one goal in mind. It is not your future.
I don't use the SN younggrandma because I waited until I was 21. I do know what it is like for you...I do think 14 is way to young, but I know. I am not judging you, just giving you benefit of been there done that wisdom. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
christina answered Tuesday March 28 2006, 5:56 pm: Wow, you're 14 and you're already banging? Eh, it's no big deal. Freaking 10 year olds are.
Anyways, if you're that scared, get a pregnancy test and check if you are.
ohxsoxtragicxo answered Tuesday March 28 2006, 5:38 pm: hah, the only reason im answering this is because this just happened to me last week. Im 15, and i was soOo scared, because we were using a condom but it ripped and i freaked out because my period was late.. i got it a couple days later though thankfully.. The only thing i can say though is dont stress too much like i did, and just take a test.. [ ohxsoxtragicxo's advice column | Ask ohxsoxtragicxo A Question ]

babiigirl answered Tuesday March 28 2006, 4:21 pm: Your 14 why are you having sex?
Anyway if you had sex you have to know that there is a possibility that you can be pregnant. No one here can tell you exatcly YEs or NO. The only thing you can do is go to the drug store and buy a prenancy test. Good luck tho. [ babiigirl's advice column | Ask babiigirl A Question ]
