ear piercing

Question Posted Saturday March 18 2006, 8:06 pm

so I got a 2nd hole on the lobe of my ear 6 weeks ago, and it's time for me to finally take it out.

but I try to remove the backing, and it's being stubborn && won't come off!

are there any tricks to help me get it off?

thank you in advance!!

Get someone else to try to get it off, it may be easier for them. Other than that, you just have to be persistent.

just keep pulling and twisting it and if that doesnt work get one of your family members or friends to help you ... if worse comes to worse go back to the place where you got your ear pierced, maybe they can get it off! good luck

hope we helped!! ♥ us

Haha.
I've had my ears pierced way too much, to not answer this question. =]

What you need to do, is take your fingernails (or get your mom/sister to do it) if you don't have long nails and try and get your index & thumb fingernails on the back of your earring and push forward with your thumb and then back with your index if that makes sense, sort of like a "rocking" motion. =] Or try and grab on to the front of the earring with your left index & thumb nails and then your right index and thumb nails to hold on to the back & just pull at the same time. It should come off easily.

If you have trouble, go back to the place you got it pierced at, and they'll help you. =]
