Chemistry I need a bit of help with this homework.
I need to know if the following are acids or bases. ( or neutral)
coffee
coke
water
gatorade
Kool- Aid
Tea
alcohol (like beer or rum)
I tried using the litmus paper but I can't see any change of colour because I suffer from a form of colourblindness and nobody around my house wants to help me.
Thank you guys so much.

the people below did it pretty good. ]
There is a chart you can use, that will just even show you the levels of acid in a compund. Just type in something along the lines of "acid and base chart" into google and see what you come out with. And it should show you the levels easily, without color because they are arranged in order from the amount of acid in them.
I hope this helps and you get it done.

the only ones i can remember off the top of my head are coke is an acid, coffee and tea are basic and water is very slightly basic, but should be neutral. im sure your teacher will understand, since you have a medical excuse. what you can do is tape the litmus paper strips to your handin and writting out what each color would represent, that way your teacher will know you arent just trying to get out of an assignment. ]
