Parents are old (and old-fashioned). They probably don't remember getting teased by their parents about their weird haircuts or fashion sense. Remember, they lived in the 70's and 80's. ;) You could talk to them about it and make it clear to them that this is how you express your individuality. I'm sure they'd prefer a unique kid to one that's cookie-cutter and boring. You could also bring up the fact they were prone to rebel against fashion standards, too, when they were your age. I think they should feel lucky that the only crazy thing about you is your hair. I mean, there are far worse things you could have chosen to rebel with. The most logical thing to do, though, and the one that'll probably work the best, is wearing some sort of hat or bandanna or whatever around the house. Every time I go to my mom's, I have to do that. It's a small sacrifice for the lack of bitching. hope this helps.

The best thing I can suggest is try talking to them. I know this sounds so lame, but just tell them how you feel and that it hurts your feelings, even if that's not necissarily true. They will feel bad thinking that they hurt you, and in time they will realize that you are your own person. Don't worry much about it because they'll accept it, and until then you have your friends for support.

Shave it all off. Then you won't have any hair for them to joke about.

you should sneak into your parents room when they are sleeping ad do some crazy thing to their hair. where gel and scissors are involved. and then when they wake up, make jokes about them. hahaha i'm laughing at the thought of it.
