Test it out, see how he acts when you two are officially together. If he keeps flirting with others girls, tell him to stop it. If he stops, then he's worth it and you should stay with him.

And if he wants to be with you then he has to stop flirting with girls. I know this might sound harsh but if he does quit flirting with girls you know he cares about you and if he says i dont wanna stop flirting then you now he wasnt worth your time anyways.
sweeethoney answered Thursday July 30 2009, 7:09 pm: honestly hun, if a boy says he 'likes you' but is obviously a player or a flirt, then he might be tellin all the other girls that as well. boys that are like that arent good for relationships. i know thats kinda harsh and im sorry to say it, but you can find someone way better that isnt a player and will flirt with you and only you.
but if youre still gonna go for him... just flirt with him back. steal attention from the other girls by keepin him interested in conversation. show him how youre better than all the other girls with talents, conversation, and just bein nice and sweet. AND BE YOURSELF, thats a huge part.

Flirt with him back, talk to him often, try and hang out with him sometimes, get his phone number, and eventually (when you're ready) tell him you like him and see his response. However, "But he flirts with a lot of girls" is a warning already. Yes, it's common for many young boys to flirt with girls. But, are they dating material? Most likely not. You have to ask yourself some questions. 1)How do I know he likes me? Because, if he flirts with a lot of girls..how do you know he likes you. It doesn't matter if he flirts with you or not. 2)Do I really want to be in a relationship with someone who flirts with other girls often? That's up to you. It can lead to heartbreak and dissapointment. So, think it over before you go for this guy. There are other guys, I'm sure, that aren't like him and will treat you wonderfully. :) [ jm93's advice column | Ask jm93 A Question ]
