Hey there..Well does your research paper have to be specifically written on an interesting person, or just a topic?
My suggestion--even if it is just on a person would be to pick someone controversial.
Examples:
Saadam Hussien
Presiden Bush
Howard Stern
Condoleeza Rice
Scott Petersen
Also, you may want to do it on a controversial topic.
Examples:
Death Penalty
Oil Drilling
Animal Testing
Music Downloading
Euthanasia
Just made sure to conver all sides (pro, con, other viewpoint) and have good/valid sources.

i did mine on the myelin project after watching "Lorenzo's oil". It was actually pretty interesting. I did one on the Aztec people too.
