I've got a scar on my cheek I'd like to get rid of. It's not hideously disfiguring or anything, but it's noticeable, and I wish it wasn't there. I've seen scar removal treatments in drug stores, something like if you wear a patch over the scar for 20 days or so, it will go away. But the treatments are sort of expensive, and also, before I wear a patch on my face for twenty days straight, I'd like to know whether the treatments actually work.
Has anyone at Advicenators got experience with the treatments? Do they actually get rid of the scar or just make it fade? For what it's worth, my scar is a red patchy-type scar about the size of my pinky fingernail, depressed into the skin rather than raised. I got it after I scratched my cheek and continually picked at the wound instead of letting it heal.
