In the morning I wake up at 6 o clock so I can catch my bus, but the thing is, no one in my family wakes up till' like 7:30 so when I get up they are all sleeping. Whenever I walk around adn stuff because no one else is awake it makes me really annoyed and just want to sleep. Does anyone have any ideas that will keep me awake when my family is sleeping?
Besides coffee.
Just kidding. But coffe helps because it has caffeine in it... find something with caffeine or aLoT of sugar (chocolate has both) or you can listen to upbeat music (in headphones if you don't want your family to wake up) and also, EXERCISE!
Running gets your heart pumping and your eyes opening.
Also it helps burn calories from all that sugar you used to wake yourself up (what is wrong with you?) LOL.

Alin75 answered Monday February 27 2006, 12:03 pm: Light. Bright light. I saw a study on Discovery (I believe it was) some time ago. They tested all sorts of things to see what makes people not feel sleepy. They tried music, keeping them busy, and a whole bunch of other stuff I dont remember. Turns out the most effective was the most obvious. Bright light. It seems we are more primal than we think, and much like animals we react very much to what our brain perceives as night and day. So try turning all the lights on in the rooms you are in. Might have the desired effect.
