Ok, today I got my ears pierced and the woman the did it apparently wasn't trained well. She told me that I need to take them out every night and clean them. So I took them out and she hadn't evened the hole where you put the earring in. So I can't get either of my earrings in and my mom is now mad at me. I have worked with it for about 20 minutes and still can't get it in. Any Ideas?

After that go to another place and get your ears repeirced. Then keep them in for 6 weeks and clean them WITH the earing in.
Vanity answered Tuesday February 14 2006, 1:47 am: Are you sure they're uneven? I know when mine were newly pierced, I had a hard time getting them back in because of swelling.
Try pressing a cold cloth or a cloth with some ice in it to your ears for a bit. Clean the earrings and try slipping them back in (don't pull on the earlobe. Just try slipping them in). It should fit if swelling was the only problem.
If they actually are uneven. Just stop messing with them. Let them grow back in and get them repierced and no matter what they tell you, do NOT take them out again. You'll have a hell of a time getting them back in. [ Vanity's advice column | Ask Vanity A Question ]
sizzlinmandolin answered Monday February 13 2006, 11:48 pm: Once you get them back in leave them in and clean them while they are in your ears. Turn them a lot so they don't get stuck, that's important. My suggestion to you for getting them back in may sound strange to you, but I've done it in the past and I know a lot of girls that used to do it too. Put it in backwards. If the piercing wasn't done evenly it should slide right in from the back. Think of it as having your ear pierced halfway through and then all the way through right next to it. There is a little hole that goes from the front to the center that is the wrong one. Since that hole doesn't reach the back, there is only one hole in the back, thus making the earring go in quite easily. Leave it in backwards for awhile until the swelling goes down and then you can try getting it in again from the front. You can ice it to get the swelling to go down. It may look somewhat silly having your earring in backwards, but it's better than the hole closing up. Once you get it in right, again, don't take it out for awhile. I hope my suggestion works and good luck. Don't worry about your mom. She's just excited, upset, and frustrated, not really mad at you. You never take out newly pierced earrings, especially if it's cartilidge. I think you should try some more to convince your mom that really, that's what she told you. Stop fidgeting with your ears, because your ears will get sore. That's not the thing to do, although I understand your mom's mad. Mine's the same. I would read the policy and see if you can get a refund of some sort, and go back in 4-6 weeks. I've had that multiple times before I got my earrings to stay put.
Good luck ♥
betterthanyou_X3 answered Monday February 13 2006, 10:09 pm: Yeah, that lady had no idea what she was talking about, at all. You're not supposed to take new piercing out for a whole 6 weeks. Clean them while they are in your ears.
Tell your mom that that's what the woman told you to do and it isn't your fault.
If I were you I'd ask your mom to take you back to where you got them done and demand your money back because that was a waste. Did they give you a packet that told you how to take care of them? If they did you should have read that, it would have told you how to do it right.
Let your ears close up (don't try to put the earrings back in) and you can get them re pierced later--somewhere else. Or, you can get them done in the same place if you want. But I wouldn't. [ betterthanyou_X3's advice column | Ask betterthanyou_X3 A Question ]
