i have love handles. first, i am 14/f. second, they are noticable when i wear camisoles (just in front of my girl-friends) and tighter shirts and things like that. i am not upset about the way they look or anything because God made me the way He wanted me to be. i am not overweight at all. my body mass index says that i am at a normal weight. i was just wondering if there are any exercises that i can do to get rid of them. i'll rate! thanks!
Holly_ answered Wednesday February 15 2006, 12:41 am: Try those crunches where you bring one elbow up to the opposite knee. Those worked for my love handles. Try doing about 30 a day (15 on each side) for a few weeks and it should improve. Hope I helped! [ Holly_'s advice column | Ask Holly_ A Question ]

Peachgirly answered Monday February 13 2006, 11:56 pm: First, you should do 30-60 minutes of cardio at least 3 times a week. Doing cardiovasular activites is the most effective way to burn calories and fat. There are different kinds of cardiovascular activities that you can do such as jogging, riding a stationary bicycle, swimming, Tae Bo, step aerobics, dancing, jump roping etc. But, don't stick to one cardio acitvity all the time cause eventually it will get boring. MOST IMPORTANTLY you should do a ton of crunches after your cardio workout. Since, you're mostly trying to get rid of your love handle you should mostly do side crunches.
