if i run and walk on a treadmill for about 20-30 minutes each day.. would i lose weight and would it help me tone my stomach and legs? if so, when will i see results?

If you walk/run on your treadmill for about 20-30 minutes each day that will only improve your cardio and it don't tone your stomach and legs. MOST IMPORTANTLY you have to do stomach exercises such as crunches and sit ups after your cardio workout on the treadmill. You also need to do leg exercises such as lunges and squats. You won't notice any results if you don't do any stomach and leg exercises.

Make sure that you eat healthier foods and don't eat any junk food. I'm not sure exactly when you will notice the results but maybe you might notice in a couple of week or a month but it just depends. Hope that I helped!

It will burn extra calories and you'll begin releasing extra weight, but toning the stomach/adominals and your legs will take working those areas more specifically..... I know of this subject only too well..... getting that heart rate up is vital in dropping weight and toning coming for using that part of the body and working on specific areas using specific muscle groups.... callenetics is a great program....an exballet dancer, turned teacher is a good place to start... I found used videos in pawn shops.... for her age, her body is really toned! Happy Heart Day to you!

A treadmill may help you burn calories faster. It depends on what speed you do it on. Try going slow then getting really fast. it will not tone your stomach, but it may strengthen the muscles in your legs. For your stomach you really have to do some stomach excersizes. Also like the person below me said, you have to eat right too.

If you eat big porportions of meals, fats, sweets, and exercise for 20-30 minutes a day you won't lose much at all. 20-30 isn't a lot of time on the tredmill at all. I lost almost 4 pounds in a week by walking an hour a day and eating small porportions of meals. I eat a lot more vegtables, fruits, 2 or 3 peaces of something sweet a week and I stick to it. You have to be very motivated to it and walk for more than 20-30 minutes because that's nothing. If you stick to this you will lose a lot more weight and get the results you want. It's not hard. You will see results. If you want to tone your stomach, do some crunches. Do about 20-30 a night and keep it up. hey yes it will tone everything and flaten your stomach if you do it EVERYDAY. you will start to notice the tonign adn weight losing about a month after. for faster results run. if your going ot wwalk do it for 1 hour. another good thing to try is crunches. cait ♥
