Nevaeh314 answered Sunday February 12 2006, 4:07 pm: It's probably a kainker (sp?) sore or a cold sore. If you've ever kissed or shared a drink with someone who gets cold sores it's probably that. Just so you know, if you have a cold sore, that's the Herpes virus, and it might recurr a couple of times a year, but I wouldn't stress over it too much.
Otherwise, if you've been eating a lot of sweet things lately, then it's most likely a sugar pimple.
Either way, it should go away within a few days.
Hope this helps!

WorriedAboutLove answered Friday February 10 2006, 9:13 pm: It sounds to me like you've bitten your tongue. It happens to everyone on occasion and it's usually on the side of the tongue, as you said. It swells and stays there for at least few days. Unfortunately, since there is swelling, you are likely to bite it again. Be careful not to (chew on the other side of your mouth if you can), and if it doesn't go away, see a doctor! I'm not sure what else it could be, but I'm no physician so my advice may be incorrect. Hope you feel better! [ WorriedAboutLove's advice column | Ask WorriedAboutLove A Question ]
