Lower Abs~ Lay down on the floor. Put your legs veritcally into the air. Cross them, and kinda relax them. But keep them straight. Then pull your head up towards your legs so your back lifts up a little. This really works it! [ Swimmindownthelanes8's advice column | Ask Swimmindownthelanes8 A Question ]

If you are looking to burn fat, like if you have a little extra, you need to do an exercise that will burn calories such as running, aerobics, or ddr. Crunches do NOT burn your fat. This is a common misconception that many people have. It just builds muscle, which may shrink your stomach somewhat, but not all the way. You need to burn calories for that. If you do both aerobic exercises and crunches/pushups, then you will burn the fat and build muscle. So that might be your best bet.
Krupple answered Thursday February 9 2006, 4:27 pm: Doing situps and crunches will make your abs stronger, but it won't make you lose any extra fat. To do that, you'll have to run, bike, or do some other type of cario workout. [ Krupple's advice column | Ask Krupple A Question ]
