Question Posted Thursday February 2 2006, 6:32 pm

17/f
My boyfriend's favorite animal is a cow, and we have inside jokes about it. I was thinking of getting him a stuffed cow and chocolates for Valentines Day. But I was wondering, do guys like getting stuffed animals from girls? I mean he's kind of like a "man's man." And I've been dating him for 5 months, so do you think chocolates and a stuffed cow would be enough? Or should I get him more? Or maybe make him dinner along with the stuffed cow and chocolates? Or would that be too much? Help!

If he really likes you and you like him anything you get he iill like because it comes from you. If it comes from you and from inside your heart and you mean what you give to him he should love whatever you get him no matter what
Hope that helps
Love meggs

He may be a "man's man" but deep down he's more likely to be just a big softie. I think it's a fantastic idea - and I'm positive he'll really appreciate the sentimentality of the gift. But I think he should be taking YOU out to dinner! :P

You should get him a cow made of chocolate! But make sure it's a really badass cow.

NO!!! Most guys don't like stuff animals. The only time that i wouldn't mind getting a stuff animal from my girlfriend is when she put her scent on it and had something along with it. I think that your idea is okay but spray your perfume on it. I think that getting him something with cows on it is better. Like a card with cows, keychain, shirt, anything. Stuff animals are always the last thing me personally.

The dinner is a little to much.

I think the cow and chocolates is a great idea. Since you joke about it, it's something that connects you. It's very sweet. Some guys like stuffed animals and some don't, but in this case I think he would love it because it's from you and because of the signifigance in it. I wouldn't do the dinner--I think that's a little too intimate for this stage in your relationship. So just go with the original plan, I think it's perfect.

The dinner is a little much, but the cow and chocolates would be great. If I were a guy, I know I would like it a lot. About whether guys like getting stuffed animals from girls, he wouldn't mind since it's from you, and he'd take it more as a joke.

I think that your good with just the cow and the chocolates! Its cute original and creative! He'll love the fact that you thought of him when you bought him the gift and also food is the way to a mans heart so the chocolates are a nice touch! Happy V-day!

Aww thats soo cute and real creative! I think guys dont mind getting something thats not that "manly" once in awhile. You should like maybe recreate your first date or the time you came up with the inside joke about the car that would be cute.If you get him more things dont spend too much on it, i would suggest going with the whole "inside joke" theme if you have anymore.I hope i gave you some good advice!
