I think I have a yeast infection. Its itchy down there a lot. My discharge is a normal color though. Do I need to get this checked out by a doctor? And how do I tell my mom? I'm 13. Do I just buy something like Monistat? And what if I use medication and I don't have a yeast infection?

Monostat works really well but it's kind of expensive -- and obviously it won't do any good if you DON'T have a yeast infection.
In either case, you definitely need to speak to your mom about this. Don't be too embarrassed -- one time my mom was not available and I had to tell my dad and THAT was embarrassing. :-) [ muffinbutt's advice column | Ask muffinbutt A Question ]
