Why does only half your answers you give get rated back?
I rate every answer i get just so they could get some sort of feedback from me.
Everyone wants to know how there advice works.
FunnyCide answered Sunday January 8 2006, 4:49 pm: I love to know how my advice helps... or if it helps. I want to know how I'm doing compared to the other columnists, if what I have to say is well written, gramatically correct (as much as possible), and if it makes sense. I want to know these things... I want to know if I've helped you.
The reason people don't usually rate your answers is
1) Laziness. They're too dadgum lazy to click the button. It takes [le gaspe] five seconds.
2) There's 47 answers, all saying the same thing. They usually rate the first 10 or so (if they rate at all).
Mostly, it's laziness. When I do ask a question, I rate accordingly. I don't think I've ever not rated a question, and if the answer was unique and helpful, I try to leave feedback other than "thanks." But even a simple thank you is better than nothing at all!
I think DangerNerd once said that only about 5% of answers get rated. [I think that's the amount he said... don't quote me on it though.]
Sherry answered Sunday January 8 2006, 4:37 pm: Yeah, but some people are just lazy and they dont want to take the 2 seconds that it takes to rate the advice. I always rate, just because I expect the same thing from everyone else. So it's just because people are lazy =) [ Sherry's advice column | Ask Sherry A Question ]

LSU_tigers2695 answered Sunday January 8 2006, 4:32 pm: i no right i aways put on mine[rate me and send me a feed back] try that hoped i helped send me a feedback and rate lol
stillstella answered Sunday January 8 2006, 4:31 pm: I guess some people just don't feel like rating so they don't. But I know what you mean only half of all the questions I answered actually gave me feedback, but yet I always make sure I rate people for their advice. Mackenzie answered Sunday January 8 2006, 4:26 pm: I agree. It's pure laziness. I rate every answer I receive, yet I don't get half of them in return! Though there are those columnists who do rate, and I appreciate that; as we all should. (= [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
