Ok..well I've been going out with this guy and only a fewp people know, and i didnt want them to know bc when everyone knows then people start to screw up everything and can cause us to break up, so one of my friends asked me if i was going out with this one guy and i said no and named somebody else even tho i was going out with that guy and i lied to him for 3 months and i finally told him and now he pretty much hates me, i've been giving him space, is there anything else i can do?

The problem with lying about who you are going out with is this. The person you are going out with will feel like they mean nothing to you. I mean when you like someone you let the world know it! Telling friends that you don't like that person will make them believe you don't like them. It makes them feel very unloved and unimportant to you.
