ok, so, I like this guy, and I want to get to know him better. Trouble is, I'm anti-social and I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm a freak. Or weird. Or scary. Anyway, I know some people who are friends with him. Any suggestions? I don't want any sugar coating on this, btw.

You have to break outside your bariers, if you dont you will regret it for the rest of your life. It is hard for most people to talk to new people, but remember. The timid live long, but the brave have fun.

when you see him in the hall say hi, or just smile.
talk to the people you know that are friends with him and see what he thinks of you, and have them start a conversation and join in with them and try to get to know him better.

Vexxia answered Monday December 12 2005, 8:25 pm: Well, how weird are you? Are you in the goth group, or the punk group? Theater group? If so, he's probably in the jock group, or the soccer group?
So if you're anti-social, then why would you want to be social? Just a question...
I don't think you're anti-social. It's probably something you've self-labeled to avoid human interaction. Not a good idea. But I was in the goth, punk and theater group. I constantly had crushes on guys in the soccer group. The only thing holding you back is yourself. Just go talk to him, normally, like you would with your brother or any of your friends.
Go out as a group with the friends that know him, have a good time, and be yourself.
If he doesn't like you for you, then there's no reason to be friends with him.
