alleycatt726 answered Monday November 28 2005, 10:55 pm: no clue, but if its on TV and and its costs that much money, i'd say no. just go with a genaric brand of acne cream. comes in a small white tube with blue on the front that says ance treatment. works excellent, i used it for years and its cheap. it even works for my mother who had bad acne from side effects from medicine. good luck. naimee answered Monday November 28 2005, 6:07 pm: I tried Proactiv, and personally to me I hated it. Just because it was such a hassle, every night before going to bed to put on this crap and like it takes so friggen long! & It makes your skin feel really oily & disgusting. Also when I tried it - it dried out my skin, so not only was I dealing with acne, I had to deal with my skin peeling. It was awful. =/ But for my sister, it worked like magic, so seriously it depends what kind of skin you have, & how your skin reacts to different products. So, get it & try it. (: It's atleast worth a try. [ naimee's advice column | Ask naimee A Question ]

If you don't keep using it properly each day then your face gets worse.

Honestly it works for some people and it doesn't work for others. I guess if you really want to you know, you got to try it! I used it for about three years. It worked at first but then stopped!
